Central Valley's Fourth of July Events

Arguably one of the most festive weekends of the summer is upon us. The Fourth of July weekend is the time to celebrate with family and friends while enjoying backyard BBQs, parades, festivals and, of course, fireworks! This list of activities throughout the valley has something for everyone and every age group. Happy Independence Day and have a fun and happy Fourth of July!
In Porterville on July 2, the Porterville Freedom Fest is jam-packed fun for everyone. Starting at 5 p.m. at the Porterville Sports Complex, there will be vendors, food trucks, a spray zone and a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance.
Kingsburg residents can head to the Kingsburg High School Stadium on July 3 for the Kingsburg Independence Day Celebration. Food vendors will begin selling food at 6 p.m. and fireworks will begin at nine. Admission is $5.
From 5 to 10 p.m. on July 3 at the Ridge Creek Golf Club is the Dinuba Independence Day Celebration where friends and family can celebrate with food, games, a beer garden and live music. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.
On July 4th at Valley Strong Ballpark in Visalia is Visalia Rawhide 4th of July complete with baseball, food, drinks, fireworks and more. Tickets start at $17.
The 2nd Annual Colonial Jamboree is on July 2 at the Elks Lodge in Hanford where there will be dinner, music, dancing, a silent auction and costumes. Tickets are $40 in advance.
And further out at Shaver Lake on July 2 will be the Shaver Lake Fireworks and a boat parade that begins at 6 p.m.
