Presidio Residential Capital Congratulates Partner for Record Year in 2019

San Joaquin Valley Homes (SJV Homes) has been recognized as one of the nation’s most active homebuilders, ranking No. 94 on the Builder 100 List with 465 closings and annual revenue of $142 million in 2019.

Each year, Builder magazine releases its ranking of the top 100 homebuilding companies in the United States based on how many homes were closed in the previous year. Those that rank 101 to 200 are recognized on the Builder Next 100 List, which last year ranked SJV Homes No. 3 among up-and-coming homebuilders.

This is the first year since its founding in 2013 that SJV Homes has broken through to the prestigious Top 100 List, which is dominated by large private and public builders.

“Our steady growth over the past seven years is based on hard work and homebuyers who trust a local builder whose employees all live in the Central Valley,” said Joe Leal, co-founder of Visalia-based San Joaquin Valley Homes. “Even during the statewide lockdown, our team has kept pace with brisk spring sales and construction while maintaining social distancing and other safety protocols.”

“Congratulations to our partner, SJV Homes, not only for making the 2020 Builder 100 List, but for its resilience during the challenges faced in recent months,” said Don Faye, principal of Presidio Residential Capital. “Their impressive team has continued to build and sell homes all spring and will be moving forward on a robust pipeline of projects through the end of the year. We are confident they will achieve the Builder 100 List again next year.”

Presidio is a San-Diego based real estate investment company that funds the projects and operations of SJV Homes.

In 2019, SJV Homes sold out four existing communities and opened seven new ones in a busy and highly successful year with more building permits pulled than any of its competitors in Tulare and Kings counties.

Its goal for 2020 is to acquire and begin land development on nine new neighborhoods in Visalia, Hanford, Reedley, Delano and Porterville. SJV Homes and Presidio have partnered on 23 projects totaling more than 2,700 units.
