MONEY-MSN.COM: “San Joaquin Valley Homes To Hold Grand Opening At Tuscany, A New Community In Northwest Bakersfield”

Lisa Walker • October 30, 2015

BAKERSFIELD, CA–(Marketwired – Oct 30, 2015) – San Joaquin Valley Homes will hold a grand opening event on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tuscany, a new community with two communities totaling 212 single-family homes on 66.5 acres in northwest Bakersfield, Calif.

Bret Michaels of KUZZ AM/FM will broadcast a live remote and spin the Free Money Machine during the event, where guests can enjoy drinks and treats from Too Fat Sandwiches, enter a raffle to win a Go Pro camera and other prizes. In addition, guests will receive special incentives toward closing costs and options.

Tuscany is SJV Homes’ seventh project in the Central Valley and seventh joint venture with Presidio Residential Capital, a San Diego-based real estate investment company, which acquired the land for Tuscany last year in collaboration with Cornerstone Communities.

Professionally decorated model homes, with prices starting in the low $300,000s, are open daily for touring, and a new home specialist is on site to provide information about the homes and the neighborhood as well as special offers and lender information. SJV Homes is known not only for skillfully crafted homes but also for the quality of service the company provides clients throughout the home buying process.

“We’re happy to offer Bakersfield residents something new,” said Joe Leal, who co-founded SJV Homes two years ago with long-time development partners Jim Robinson and Randy Merrill. “We have a great location, and we couldn’t be happier with the home designs and construction. Given that Bakersfield is one of the most affordable housing markets in California right now, we expect demand to be high.”

Located in northwest Bakersfield at the northwest corner of Hageman Road and Renfro Road, Tuscany offers four floorplans with two- or three-car garages ranging from 2,219 to 3,205 square feet on home sites ranging from 8,400 to 13,000 square feet. Inspired by classic European architecture, the traditional Italian, Tuscan and French Country homes feature thoughtful embellishments and handcrafted details such as full-height stone veneer, keystone entryways, concrete tile roofs and enchanting courtyards.

Elegant interiors feature granite kitchen and bath counters, tile flooring, hand-textured walls with two-tone paint, custom maple cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, designer lighting and hardware packages and flexible room options including casita or guest suite. Expansive windows and spacious nine- and ten-foot ceilings create light-filled, functional living spaces.

The home plans, ranging from 2,219 to 3,205 square feet with three to six bedrooms and two to three-and-a-half baths, offer buyers the opportunity to personalize their homes with additional room options, casitas, porte cochers and supplementary garages.

Tuscany is within the well-established and sought-after Rosedale School District and close to the popular Northwest Promenade shopping center as well as major employers including Giumarra Farms, Grimmway Farms, Wm. Bolthouse Farms and Chevron. The location offers easy access to freeways, Amtrak stations and the Meadows Field Airport.
